The mammoth task of getting an LLP (company) registered in india.

 So, I have been trying to get a company registered in india & i keep facing problems, hurdles and I still dont have a proper documents visible on the mca.gov.in, a useless shit of a website.

So, I had my ex colleague who agreed to be a 1% partner (since 2 is needed to start an llp) with my venture. He recommended a CA - Chartered Accountant that he usually works with. So, far I have spent 30k on this and I do not know whether I should go live with my company or not. I do not yet have a bank account for it because the partnership agreement isn't visible on the government's website.

So, for form3, even though it was a 99:1 partnership, for some reason the CA had given equal voting power, decision making power and even the decision to to profit sharing requiring both partner's approval. Usually it is the majority partner and the profit is shared as per the share in the company, that is 99:1. Also for some unknown reason there was a clause added to the partnership agreement that there won't be any front end development done in the this new company. So, I had to point it all and get it corrected. Then asked the CA to upload this form3 partnership agreement to the govt's portal but he sent a copy to sign without the 1st 2 pages which has the partner's signatures. Then I had to get it printed out by myself, use a courier to courier it between me and the other partner and then the CA to get it uploaded. It has been 3 months and yet we do not see the company's documents on the government's website. as of today, 4july2026, I have contacted 3 additional CA and they all say that there is no form3 and it was never uploaded or updated and if it was then it should be present online. One CA from reddit said "Hi, a cs here. Form 3 is not available as a publicly available document on MCA search. If you want it you have to seperately apply for it to the Ministry" but since then I have contacted 3 CAs and all of them have failed to provide me the form3, partnership agreement in the govt website for my company. Currently I am in the 4th month of trying to start this shit and it almost feels the system is designed to work only for the whales and filter out the small fishes like me.

Visited the ROC office at koramangala, the staff were quick & helpful but the process seemed unnecessarily tedious, disheartening and complicated. The mca.gov.in is a shitty website where you don't have this feature of downloading the documents of my own company of which I am the majority+designated partner. So, now I was asked to get a stamp worth 100Rs and pay 25 per page of the document that I want to download and I have to pay this as miscellaneous on the website, bring the receipt to the physical office to get my own documents. This of course is clearly done to make it hard for activists to get the details of shady, namesake, shell companies which are used by politicians, oligarchs, cronies for corruption. I haven't even opened a bank account yet and my hdfc bank wants me to talk to the physical branch office about it and they never call me back to open an account for my llp, even though they are one of the many who keep spamming me to open a current/company account with them. 

I am also aware of scenarios where (example from family member) where account gets created, but the welcome kit doesnt come tot he address, so the account gets blocked because all government, public, private, banks and orgs have an unnecessary restriction on the number of lines and total length of the address. So full address won't fit in unless you are super rich to live in an area where the address has 1 or 2 lines. After this the account was re opened after a lot of hassle but got locked again because there was some unknown issue which even the manager of the branch don't know.

For the established class, they have direct access to someone who will get it done instantly, overnight, off office hours, even on holidays for a cut/commission, for the rest of us, it is just hurdles, mountains strategically placed to ensure that nobody climbs the ladder threatens the status quo of the existing oligarchs, nepos and cronies. None of them of course have a problem with people running away from this to other countries because then you are not threatening their status quo here, you are threatening the status quo of someone else in some other country, countries like india have an over abundance of porters to carry the carriage of the pre established class.
